Double 8 Alpaca & Llama Farm Tours

Meet the alpacas, llamas and our other farm animals in person!

Our hour-long tours include an education on alpacas and llamas and an opportunity to visit with and feed the alpacas a healthy snack that we provide. During your tour you will get to meet our friendly alpacas, feed them a treat, and learn why we have alpacas and what we do with them.  You will learn about the history of alpacas and llamas and the differences between them.

We have 2 gentle horses, chickens, farm dogs, and many alpacas and llamas on our 32 acre farm in Hillsboro, Virginia for you to meet while here for your tour. There is a Johnny Porta Potty onsite and a hand-washing station. See our Frequently Asked Questions for additional tour details.

“What a wonderful time meeting with the Alpacas, Llamas, a long with the dogs and chickens. Took our teen granddaughter and two friends for a fun and educational afternoon. They loved meeting all the animals and getting close and personal, and so did we. Lots of fun and laughs too. Wonderful hosts. Thank you.”

“The owners provided a unique, incredible, and educational experience that no one who loves animals should miss out on. They were friendly and kind and made us feel incredibly welcome as they introduced us to their beautiful alpacas. Great for families with young kids and/or significant others who love alpacas!”
