We provide healthy treats for you to feed the alpacas while on your tour.  You can take photos and selfies of our friendly alpacas and llamas.  You will leave with a smile on your face after spending time with our gentle farm animals.  Tag us on Instagram @Double8alpaca

Is there a Public Restroom on the Farm?

There is a Johnny Blue Porta Potty onsite and a hand washing station.

What Should we Wear?

For your safety, please wear closed-toe shoes.  If muddy or wet, you might want to bring a change of shoes (boots). In the summer months, wear protective clothing such as hats to shade your eyes, or warm clothes during colder months.

What Covid Precautions Should We Take?

Masks are optional outdoors on the farm as long as we are maintaining 6 feet social distancing. There is also a hand-washing station.  If you or anyone in your group is experiencing Covid or Flu-like symptoms, please reach out to us to reschedule or cancel your tour.

Are There Other Things to See or Do on the Farm?

We have 2 gentle horses, chickens, farm dogs, and many alpacas and llamas on our 32 acre farm in Hillsboro, Virginia for you to meet while here for your tour.

Can We Bring our Dog?

NO OUTSIDE DOGS ARE PERMITTED.  We want the animals to feel safe and comfortable around our visitors. We have livestock guardian dogs who will jump on your car if you bring your dog(s) and leave them in your car.  It's best to leave your dogs at home.
