Mother's Day welcomed a new addition to Double 8 Alpaca Ranch.  Congrats to Oreo (5th cria) on the unassisted birth of Oreo's Double Stuff.  This is the first time we have actually had the opportunity to see Oreo give birth.  She hid the previous two, having Ghiradella while I went in the house for dinner and having Peppermint Patty out in the pasture while I was feeding the girls in the barn. 

This time Oreo gave birth in the pasture while we watched from a far.  First two white legs were exposed followed by a black/maroon little boy with the same markings as mom.
