Community Supported Agriculture
The Double 8 Alpaca Ranch Community Supported Agriculture program is a way for crafts-persons to get locally grown and processed alpaca fleece and yarn for which to make their products while also helping the farmer/producer defray the up front costs to process our fleece harvest.
We have two share types:
Yarn Share ($300) - One full share will get you a variety of yarn styles, weights and plys, approximating 18-20 skeins at a 20% discount. This year's selection includes an abundance of black and dark natural colors.
Spinner's Share ($130) - A Spinner's Share is two (2) pounds of Roving or two and a half (2.5) lbs of skirted fiber right off the alpaca ready for spinning
In addition, all share owners recieve a voucher for 15% off any farm store merchandise including additional yarn, products such as gloves, hats, scarves, and rugs
Fiber milling will begin June 15th
